This project centers on the stories of migrants from diverse corners of the globe, each with their own unique and touching “last memory” before leaving their homeland.

These memories — ranging from the last taste of a beloved meal to a final goodbye with family — are captured through intimate portraits and narrative photography, set against the backdrop of New York City, a symbol of migration, diversity, and reinvention.

Through these deeply personal moments, the project explores the shared emotional core of migration: the pull of home, the pain of departure, and the strength required to begin again.
